Panic: Playdate Brand Book

When I was with Panic, this little Portland software shop, I put together a brand book for their Playdate console — the cranky yellow thing that had every indie developer community buzzing. They called it a passion project, but really, it was the dream that came to define them.

The brand book was my way of saying: This is how you keep the magic alive. The rules — styling, voice, all that — were really about protecting what made it special. A guide for the team, old and new, to remind them what they were holding. A way to say: This is who we are.
