“Nowak” (Polish, so that w sounds like a v) translates to newcomer. And yeah, the name fits.
I’m an aspiring copywriter with nearly a year of real-world experience at an award-winning agency in Minneapolis, where I’ve been having fun writing mini-pig food headlines and dressing like an ad guy.
Before that, I studied journalism at the University of Oregon, where I ran track and cross country—and got to call myself an NCAA champion thanks to my much faster teammates. GO DUCKS!
Before that, I took a gap year, moved to Kenya, and chased Olympic-level marathoners up dirt roads just to get Oregon’s coach to read my emails.
I like really smart advertising. And I like really dumb advertising.
I love words. The way you can twist them, pare them down and layer meaning until they’re saying ten things at once. I saw someone say they could be found “saving the world one banner at a time.” Almost stole it. But I prefer Sharpie.
Oh, and I have a TikTok famous poodle who walks everywhere on two legs. She may be the real star here.
I’d love to hear from you!
